Pop star's brother says he was never denied entry into U.S

The US-based artist took to Instagram saying the news came from a fake Facebook and Twitter page.

The US-based artist took to Instagram on March 10, 2017, saying the news came from a fake Facebook and Twitter page.

According to him, "On a serious note, the rumour going around that I was stopped from entering the state is not true.

It is absolutely fake. It's not true. The Twitter account and the Facebook account used is not mine.

I do not post anything on my account so I don't know how that came in."

This comes after a fake account made this claim on Facebook on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.

"I’ve just been denied entry into the United States #frustrated #stranded," was written by an impersonator.

2face's brother has been living in Virginia, United States for years.

Hyacinth who is also a singer hasn't been active on his Facebook and Twitter accounts.

There have been claims by some Nigerians that were denied entry into the United States.

On Monday, March 6, 2017, Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has urged Nigerians not to travel to the US unless they have a compelling reason.

Dabiri-Erewa explained that the warning became necessary after some Nigerians with valid visas were denied entry into the US.
