The Supreme Court has removed former Aviation Minister, Stella Oduah from the Senate.

The apex court reached the decision today, January 29, 2016, after upholding the nullification of the elections of Oduah and Andy Uba as the senators representing Anambra North and Anambra South senatorial zones respectively, The Guardian reports.

The court had earlier also sacked Uche Ekwunife, who was representing Anambra Central, from the upper chamber.

Oduah, Uba and Ekwunife were all elected into office on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) meaning that the party no longer has any Senator from Anambra representing it.
