Prosecution seeks Saraki's arrest over absence at tribunal

The purported commencement of the  impeachment process of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki has aroused a lot of sentiments.

Speaking to Guardian Newspapers on the matter, the Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) Northern Youth Merger Group, Mujahid Zaitawa said “We understand that these people are doing everything to see that APC is wished away and replaced with the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).”

Adding that “It could be highly inimical to the North once such a game plan is allowed to succeed. With the removal of Saraki from authority, the Peoples Democratic Party would ultimately be in firm control of the National Assembly to the detriment of the APC.”
