‘If it were all about money Buhari wouldn’t have won,’ APC Chairman says

Oyegun also said that if President Muhammadu Buhari had relied on money, he wouldn’t have won the 2015 elections.

The APC Chairman made the comments in Abuja while receiving a visit from Tina Agbarha, a female governorship aspirant in Edo state, The Cable reports.

“You should take interest in politics and campaigns seriously because not everything is about money in politics,” Oyegun said.

“I urge you to increase your level of participation in electioneering processes because it is not all about money. If it were all about money President Muhammadu Buhari would not win.

“The people trusted him, and so I encourage you to take what you are doing very, very seriously,” he added.

Oyegun had earlier said that the change promised by Buhari and the APC will come with difficulties.
