Akeredolu emerges as APC governorship candidate

The defeated aspirants were urged to join hands with Akeredolu in order to form a formidable team against the opposition and incumbent PDP.

 

Akereodolu beat other aspirants - Jumoke Anifowoshe-Ajasin, Jamiu Ekungba, Olabimtan Victor, Tunji Abayomi, Ademola Adegoroye, Derin Adesida, among others to emerge the APC governorship candidate in forthcoming Ondo State gubernatorial election.

He was the pronounced winner by Governor Mohammed Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State, who is also the chairman primary election committee of the party that monitored the exercise.

Abubakar  described the conduct of the primary as transparent and credible, while urging the defeated aspirants to  join hands with  Akeredolu in order to form a formidable team against the opposition and incumbent Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
