PDP candidate promises to close Lekki toll gate

Agbaje reportedly stated this during an interactive session with a section of the Muslim community in the state.

The Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje has promised to scrap the Lekki-Epe toll gate if elected into office.

Agbaje reportedly stated this during an interactive session with a section of the Muslim community in the state on Tuesday, January 13.

The PDP candidate is said to have added further that the tollgate is unsustainable due to the fact that it was erected on an existing road.

Agbaje however said that the Lekki Phase 1 toll gate could not be scrapped because it was constructed by the concession company.
