PDP spokesperson denies hiring crowd to disrupt Buhari’s UK speech

Fani-Kayode made the denial via Twitter on Thursday, February 26, describing the allegation as a lie.

The spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign organization, Femi Fani-Kayode has denied hiring protesters to disrupt the Chatham House lecture of All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Muhammadu Buhari.

“My attention has been drawn to a story that I am renting a crowd to embarrass Gen. Buhari at Chatham House later today. It is a lie,” Fani-Kayode tweeted.

The APC had earlier allegedthat the PDP spokesperson had paid a crowd to disrupt Buhari’s speech.

Meanwhile, the APC candidate is currently speaking at Chatham House and a crowd of protesters is stationed outside the venue brandishing anti-Buhari placards.
