Chairman, House Committee on Interior, Honourable  Jagaba Adams Jagaba has called on all stakeholders in the Federal Capital Territory to ensure that the rescheduled Council election is peaceful.

Jagaba said this at the National Assembly complex on Tuesday 16 March, 2016 while receiving reports concerning unrest in some area councils of Abuja.

The FCT area council election which was earlier scheduled for March 19, 2016, has now been postponed to April 9, 2016.

There have been some clashes as some mercenaries have been attacking their opponents with different political ideologies.
