Bola Tinubu also said that Nigerians need to have a change of attitude towards nation building.

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has said that President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari will handle Nigeria’s problems with the seriousness they deserve.

Tinubu also said that Nigerians need to have a change of attitude towards nation building.

The APC leader stated this on Thursday, April 23, 2015, during the 12th convocation ceremony of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

“We should all be prepared for a change of attitude towards nation building. The incoming administration will tackle problems confronting Nigeria–insecurity–with seriousness,” Tinubu, who is the Chancellor of the university, said.

“A great opportunity is presented to us and we can no longer afford to pay lip service to youth development. You have now elected a President who will honour his duty. The youths must also be willing partners with the government in building the nation,” he added.

Tinubu, whose speech was read by Mr Akin Kekereekun, also said that Nigerians had made the right choice in voting Buhari.
