1. Atiku Abubakar

A serial defector per excellence, Nigeria’s former Vice President was PDP’s biggest signing in 2017 when he made the switch from cross town rivals, APC. He never believes in kissing the club badge because he's never been a one club man.

He’s a prolific striker with loads of experience from playing in several political clubs since 1993.

Signed for an undisclosed fee.

2. Musiliu Obanikoro

Passed his medicals in an EFCC prison and has been lacing his boots for the APC since early 2017.

Capable of playing in defence and attack and has been described as one of the best utility players in the political league.

3. Bukola Saraki

A political midfielder famed for his trickery, passing range and subterfuge on the ball. Reportedly made the move to PDP to seek out new challenges.

Finalised his move to the PDP after launching waves of attacks from within the APC all season.

4. Aminu Tambuwal

Another big money signing who left the APC for the PDP in the latest transfer window.

He’s an experienced campaigner who has been swapping one club for the other for years now.

A burly defender who is the bookies favourite to make the switch back to the APC in the next transfer window.

5. Abdulfatah Ahmed

A winger who is adept at providing assists from the flanks for Saraki and the rest of his Kwara clique.

He boasts the most assists to Saraki in the close season and is famous for netting own goals when not providing assists at the other end of the pitch.

6. Godswill Akpabio

Bankrolled his own transfer to the APC, completed his medicals in a London apartment and in Nigeria; and was unveiled at a lavish ceremony before his home fanbase.

A hard tackling, ball playing defender who combines an uncanny ability to snuff out danger and launch attacks from the rear.

Has loads of experience from lacing his boots for the PDP since 1999 and could prove a shrewd summer signing for the APC in the long run.

7. Samuel Ortom

Forced his move to the PDP when he handed in a transfer request and asked some of his supporters to carry placards in protest.

Plays with his head more than he does with his heart, from an attacking position.
