Ambode revealed as much today, June 1, 2015, when he shared a photo of his first day in office on Instagram.
The picture captioned “My first day in Office #ekoonibaje #itesiwajueko” shows the new governor looking over documents on his desk with a photo of him and President Muhammadu Buhari hanging on the wall.
Ambode took over from former Governor, Babatunde Fashola on Friday, may 29, 2015.
