Edo state governor reportedly spent N17m for a trip to Miami

The memo, which was allegedly signed by two permanent secretary, was issued on August 25, 2015 from the Edo State House.

 

There are tales that the Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomhole allegedly got over N17m for a trip to Miami, United States of America.

The tale was initiated after Seun Kuti, son of Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, tweeted a memo alleging the governor approved and got a total of  N17, 115, 804 as cost to travel on a two weeks trip to Miami.

While Seun Kuti maintains that the governor needs to confirm the authenticity of the memo, there have been discourse on the memo.
