Twin bomb blast rocks Maiduguri, scores dead

The Police Public Relations officer, Victor Isuku, said the incident occurred near Old NEPA office not far from the Monday market.

 

According to Premium Times, the explosions rocked the city's main market on Sunday, December 11 at about 8:48 a.m. The blasts were said to have occurred in quick succession.

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations officer, Victor Isuku, said it happened near Old NEPA office not far from Monday market.

Eyewitnesses reportedly said the attacked area was crowded.

With rescue workers being mobilised to the site, the number of casualty is unknown at the time of filing this report.
