We cracked jokes with President on our visit - Gov Ganduje

Gov Ganduje has said President Buhari is in good health and even cracked jokes with the governors that visited him recently.

Buhari shares a laugh with State Governors in his London apartment

He made this remark shortly after the delegation of Nigerian Governors Forum visited President Buhari in London on Wednesday, July 26, 2017.

In a short video posted on Twitter, Ganduje said, " We were personally received by the President at the Abuja House in London on our courtesy visit. He came out personally to shake hands with us and much after a short speech was made by the Chairman of the Governors Forum and he also responded and we even cracked jokes. So I believe Mr President will soon recover fully and return to Nigeria."

Seven governors departed Nigeria on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, to see the President in London.

Governors on the delegation include; Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara), Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo), Dave Umahi (Ebonyi), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom) and Kashim Shettima (Borno).

President Buhari had met with state governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the Abuja House in London.
