President consoles victims of Kano market fire

The president assured those who suffered losses from the fire incident that the Federal Government would do all within its powers to support the efforts of the Kano State government to ameliorate their plight.

 

President Muhammadu Buhari has conveyed heartfelt commiserations to victims of Wednesday’s fire outbreak in the popular Singa Market in Kano.

President Buhari made his feelings known in a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina.

It stated that President Buhari was deeply saddened by the destruction of very valuable goods and properties in the inferno.

According to the statement, President Buhari shares in the pain and anguish of all hardworking Nigerians who lost their wares and belongings in the unfortunate fire incident.
