President Muhammadu Buhari will commence a 10-day vacation on Monday, June 7, the president’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina has said.

Adesina stated that the president would travel to London on the same date.

"During the holiday, he will see an E.N.T Specialist for a persistent ear infection. The President was examined by his Personal Physician and an E.N.T Specialist in Abuja, and was treated.

"Both Nigerian doctors recommended further evaluation purely as a precaution,’’ the statement said.

However, the Presidency had on Saturday denied reports that the President was sick, insisting that Buhari is "as fit as a fiddle."
