Terror group will carry out more deadly attacks – Fani-Kayode says

Fani-Kayode also called on the Federal Government to restructure Nigeria before it is too late.

He said this in reaction to the announcement by ISIS that it has appointed Abu Musab al-Barnawi as the new leader of Boko Haram.

Fani-Kayode also predicted that the new leader of the terror group might carry out more deadly attacks.

He condemned the announcement by al-Barnawi that saying “Anyone that targets Christians and Churches, or indeed any innocent civilians for slaughter, is not worthy of life.

“They are vermin and they must be crushed. Shekau is evil but Al-Barnawi is even worse; he is the devil incarnate. He represents ISIS and we all know what that means."

Daily Post reports that he also said “As far as I am concerned, they can both destroy one another and burn in hell.

“Nigeria is in a mess. If it is not Boko Haram that is slaughtering our people it is the Fulani herdsmen. They are doing these despicable things with the active connivance and support of a few people that are in the corridors of power today whose objective it is to islamise our nation."

Adding that “If we fail to do so we must reconsider our so-called unity. If things don’t change quickly we must consider the possibility of peacefully dividing our country and renegotiating our union.

“We cannot afford to wait any longer because we are playing with fire. We must do everything peacefully and we must not allow these butchers to provoke us into another civil war.”

Femi Fani-Kayode also accused President Muhammadu Buhari of being anti-Christian.
