'Bottles' by Sean Tizzle lacks the killer touch

Sean Tizzle's 'Bottles' might have all the pop ingredients, but it lacks the sweet sauce for it to be a bonafide hit.

Last week pop act Sean Tizzle released a new single titled 'Bottles'. Surprisingly this song wasn't produced by D'Tunes. 'Bottles' was produced by Dicey.

On the surface, 'Bottles' has everything required of a standard Nigerian pop song, simple lyrics and a banging beat made up of swirling synths. However, even with the formula 'Bottles' falls short of the sizzling hot singles Sean Tizzle has delivered for the past three years.

The hook is lost to the Dicey produced instrumental. Sean Tizzle's voice isn't bold enough to take over the instrumental.

Also 'Bottles' lacks the x-factor needed for it to be a sure-fit hit. Sure it will have its spins here and there. With a good video it can stay on TV for a couple of months, but without that killer touch it will fade away soon.
