He’s pushing steady towards the release of his debut album. Burna Boy gives the final single before the feverishly anticipated release of his compilation, L.I.F.E. This one he calls Yawa Dey, and as expected, it’s got the mastering skills of producer Leriq all on it. Enjoy!

Down here, Where we come from, reggae is appreciated, but that’s as far as it goes. Burna goes all Rastafarian on us, but he goes a step further by infusing the endearing pidgin English. The flows are cool, the rhythm holds its own, but in all it can’t be a stand alone song. Thank heavens it’s got covering in an album.
Verdict: 3/5. The album gets lovlier.
