Rapper to release 12th album his summer

The Queens rapper last released an album, 'Life Is Good' in July 2012. Now, he's reportedly planning his 12th studio LP for this summer.

Nas has confirmed that he will put out a new album in 2015.

The hip-hop star revealed the news at a show in Orlando, Florida over the weekend. As reported by Uproxx, Nas told the crowd: "2015, new album this summer".

After releasing 2012's 'Life Is Good', Nas has featured on tracks by the likes of Jay Z, Madonna, Wiz Khalifa and Schoolboy Q. He also unveiled the J Dilla-produced 'The Season' last year.Nas reissued his debut album 'Illmatic' in 2014 for its 20th anniversary, it was re-released along with the accompanying 'Time Is Illmatic' documentary.
