Lace – “I And Olamide Are Still Friends After He Didn’t Turn Up For My Video”

Nigerian singer, Lace (Taiwo Agbohunsa), has put an end to rumors about him and Olamide having a quarrel. Olamide had earlier failed to turn up for Lace’s “Gba Be” video shoot, but it appears Lace holds no grudge.

The two singers performed together at the African Shrine during this year’s Felabration, sending the audience into a frenzy.

Taiwo Agbohunsa better known as Lace is as equally popular on the streets, respected for always coining out street-like music, like Sebiwo, Gba Be and Fere (Whistle). Gradually enjoying appreciable mainstream music acceptance; with the on-going rebranding efforts powered by his new record label, Dozage Records.

“This is Olamide’s shine time and I know he is very busy, though he promised to put up an appearance at the video shoot but eventually did not apparently because of prior engagements and I was also billed to perform at the Notthinghill Carnival in London few days after we shot the video so my Record Label had no choice but to tell to Director Mattmax to round off recording and post-editing for official release to my fans who has been yearning for the video for the song, myself and Olamide met at Etisalat Cliqfest show in Offa, Kwara State and he tendered his heartfelt apology, me and Olamide remain friends for life as we both come from the streets, we might possibly record another song together, you guys should just keep your fingers crossed, we shall surprise you all”. A happy Lace said.
