According to a report by Twitch, undefinedhas cast Donnie Yen as the last minute replacement for Jet Li, who has exited the movie for unknown reasons.

Jet Li has exited the upcoming sequel "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage," as his "Hero" co-star Donnie Yen joins cast.

Yen is joining the cast as a character named named Xiang.
Others in the movie includes "Vampire Diaries" star, Nina Dobrev, 'Orange is the New Black" star, Ruby Rose, undefined Vin Diesel and Samuel L Jackson.

The original "xXx" which was released in 2002, was a box office success. The film starred Diesel as Xander Cage, a former extreme sports athlete, notorious for his death-defying public stunts.
Betting he can succeed where other conventional spies have failed, Xander is recruited by NSA Agent Gibbons (Samuel L. Jackson) to become a different kind of undercover agent.
