1. "Omugwo"

15.1% of Pulse Nigeria readers chose Kunle Afolayan's "Omugwo" as their favourite movie of 2017, so far.

In the comedy movie, Omotunde, a young civil engineer married to Raymond an OAP(Online Radio Personality), has just given birth.

Their mothers-in-law forcefully move in with the couple to perform the Igbo child care rite called, Omugwo.

But instead of relieving their children of the burden of childcare, the mothers’ rivalry complicates life for the couple.

2. "Slow Country"

12.4% of our readers enjoyed watching the Eric Aghimien movie.

In "Slow Country," a homeless teenage mother, who gets herself trapped in prostitution and drug trafficking for seven years in order to secure a good life for her son, decides to quit.

However, her boss, a ruthless human and drug trafficker is not ready to let go of his most trusted cash cow.

3. "King Invisible"

10.8% of our readers had fun watching the Femi Adisa epic movie.

"King Invincible" tells the story of a handsome warlord, who is fast transitioning into a wolf due to the curse of the dogs that has been placed on him.

4. "Ojukokoro"

9.2% of our readers had fun watching the Dare Olaitan comedy/heist thriller, "Ojukokoro."

The movie tells the story of what happens when a cash strapped manager in a money laundering petrol station, decides to rob the petrol station that employs him, but along this journey, finds out that there are different kinds of criminals that are also interested in the same cash.

5. "Mr and Mrs 2"

8.1% of Pulse Nigeria readers obviously enjoyed watchingthe sequel to the 2012 "Mr and Mrs."

The movie focuses on a couple Sharon (Rita Dominic) and Kobi (Chidi Mokeme), who in a bid to save their union, expose some of the truths surrounding struggles and independence in marriage.
