Readers say there are no credible awards in Nigeria

Are Nigerian awards credible? 27.6% of Pulse readers say awards in Nigeria are credible.

In a recent poll conducted by Pulse Movies,  37.9% of the readers say awards are not credible in Nigeria. 34.5% say few awards in Nigeria are credible. 27.6% say awards in Nigeria are credible.

There have been several actors and actresses, who have come out publicly to criticize an African Award platform.

While the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award was going on, Ghanaian actress and producer, "Most awards in Africa. ," she said.

Recently a Nollywood actor, Ibrahim Chatta, who was nominated for the City People Entertainment Awardsin the best actor category, appealed to his fans not to vote for him. According to the actor who took to Instagram to make the appeal, he is not interested and considers most of the film awards in Nigeria not credible enough.
