2 contestants evicted, 6 under probation after week 2 [Video]

Two contestant were last week evicted while six others were placed on probation after a host of fantastic musical performances.

 

As Project Fame 8.0 begins to heat up, two contestant were last week evicted while six others were placed on probation after a host of fantastic musical performances.

Five contestants-Deborah, Jennifer, Richie, Tejiri and Kumi -were all chosen by the judges to go on probation in week one but Deborah and Jennifer were finally evicted.

After performing all the same songs of week one, the judges opined that all of them improved with their performances from the previous week.

Tejiri was saved through votes, faculty chose Kumi while the safe contestants voted to keep Richie in the house leaving Deborah and Jennifer to go home.

Both girls talked about their experiences in the house and thanked the platform for the opportunities.

The following day, it was time for another fierce competition as the contestants all came out in full force for another round of performance.

Jeff kicked off the performances with the rendition of 'There goes my baby' by Usher and was impressive with it.

Judges were impressed with Biko's performance of 'I wanna love you' by Akon, Arewa with a performance of 'Where do broken hearts go' by Whitney Houston and Pearl with 'I bet' by Ciara.

It was different for Ruby who Ade Bantu told was not consistent with her performance of 'All by myself' by Celine Dion.

Kumi was impressive with her rendition of  'Talk about your revolution' by Tracy Chapman while Ada got applauses from judges with her performance of 'Drunk in love' by Beyonce.

Anderson did 'Crawl' Chris Brown and judges said he possesses an unbelievable talent.

Diende was advised to be careful not to get distracted as he is becoming predictable after his performance of 'Crazy' by KC and Jojo.

Tejiri left doubt with her performance of 'At Last' by Whitney Houston, Chike was not impressive with his rendition of 'The man' by Aloe Blacc while Richie's voice left little to remember following his performance of 'No one else comes close' by Joe.

Judges say Oluchi looked tired with her performances of 'Pills and Portions' by Nicki Minaj but Joy impressed with her performance of Joy of 'A long walk' by Jill Scott.

Ricgie,  Ruby, Deinde, Tejiri, Oluchi and Chike were place on probation after the performances.

Fans of the contestants who are probation will have to vote for them to keep them safe with their numbers.

Richie(17), Ruby(20), Deinde(7), Tejiri(18), Oluchi(19), and Chike(5). To Vote, send your favourite contestant's number to 306 for residents in Nigeria and 1745 for those in Ghana.

The winner of the competition will walk away with a grand prize of N5m, a brand new SUV and a recording deal worth millions of Naira.

The 1st runner up will get a saloon car and N3m. The 2nd runner up will be awarded a brand new saloon car along with N1m while the 3rd runner up will receive a cash prize of N1m.
