2017 edition kicks off with “Sunday & Lolade”

A new edition of GC's Nolly Thursdays will hold on February 9, 2017, with the special guest as Kiki Omeili and Yomi Black as they premiere “Sunday & Lolade.”

Sunday and Lolade set to premiere during Nolly Thursdays

The event which will hold on February 9, 2017, at Genesis Cinemas, Lekki, Lagos, will feature Omeili and Black as special guests.

Synopsis:Sunday & Lolade”is a comedy series story about a middle class couple based in Lagos state Nigeria.

Sunday is a good-hearted man who really wants the best for Lolade, but somehow never knows how to say or do the right things.

He constantly makes mistakes but his love for Lolade keeps him trying to be a better man. Lolade on the other hand is an overzealous lady who falls in love with Sunday despite all his flaws and tries to balance her hectic relationship and her career.

Abayomi Aderibigbe popularly known as “Yomi Black” is the CEO of Black Studios Ltd, a Media, Entertainment and Content Production company.

Yomi Black started out as a Radio presenter for Rhythm 93.7fm and later branched out to producing movies, advertising and photography.

In 2011 he began, a music review show called Radio Hit Show (RHS) with 160 successful episodes. In 2013, he started his online TV platform on YouTube called VHS (Video Hit Show), a short form comedy series with over 200 videos produced and counting, also an estimated aggregate of over 50 million views.

Omeili is an Actress, TV Presenter and Medical Doctor who has featured in Nollywood movies including "Behind the Smile" [2012], "Lekki Wives" [2012], "Gbomo Gbomo Express" [2015] among others.

Nolly Thursdays which has been described as the movie industry's Industry Night" for the Nigerian film industry, is geared towards promoting and celebrating Nollywood movies (old and new) in the cinema.

Nolly Thursdays will air on TrybeTv(GoTVngCh.97)  by 5:30pm and ONTV(UHF Ch.41, GoTV Ch.96) by 7:30pm.
