In a recent chat with Punch Newspaper, Sylvanus, who became synonymous with her 'crying roles' in Nollywood movie, has confirmed her decision to be on more movie sets than political office.

“I never left Nollywood. All I am saying is that I will do more movies this year. I took a break but I didn’t leave Nollywood and I will never leave Nollywood. I gave myself a break because I felt I needed a time out,” she said.

Nkiru was in the news for becoming one of the first actresses that landed a political appointment after the governor of her state, Rochas Okorocha of Imo State sought her services four years back.
