Asurf Films has released a new teaser for it’s upcoming drama movie “

Akande (played by Idowu) while battling the vices of life is on a journey to self discovery. The teaser reveals Akande moves from the city to a small town to find work as a teacher. In his voyage, he gets help from Sadau’s character who works with him as a teacher's assistant.

The movie directed and produced by Asurf Oluseyi also stars Ali Nuhu, Toyin Aimakhu, Rahama Sadau, Ali Nuhu, Tunbosun Aiyedehin, Ibrahim Daddy and Tomiwa Kukoyi.

Here’s a breakdown of the movie’s synopsis:

“Hakkunde” is an intriguing story of a young graduate who battles everything including love, family, discrimination, drug abuse, tradition and insecurity. It follows his journey to self-discovery and actualization.

The story is characterized by actions and reactions that defines the everyday Nigerian society, with its ups and downs and with a particular focus on the life of a job hunting graduate “Akande” who found himself in totality while searching for a job, and a better life.

“Hakkunde” written by Tomi Adesina was shot in Kaduna and Lagos, Nigeria. This is Oluseyi's first full length film. The producers of the movie are yet to reveal the exact date it will be released this year.

On March 5, 2016, Asurf Oluseyi won the award for Best Short Film at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA) for his production titled “A Day With Death”.

On May 5, 2016, the director premiered a short film titled "Hell or High Water” which challenges stereotypical narratives about sexuality and spirituality. T
