According to the "Suru L'ere" actor, he is in support of the cancellation for security reasons.
"I tend to support it. Let's call a spade a spade, the North is a bit unstable, it has had that history for years now," said Ojefua.
"A community that is going to keep hosting actors in and out of the country, should be located in a place where there is a reasonable level of security. Where we can guarantee the lives of these people.
"So, having to take people into a very unstable environment would not be appropriate, from my point of view. So I support that, not for the other reasons, but from the security perspective."
During the interview (which can be watched above) the actor also spoke on the box office system in Nigeria.
In July, 2016, The Nigerian government cancelled plans for a film village in Kano.
Aimed at creating jobs and bringing local films to high standard, the Federal Government had planned releasing 1billion Naira for the kick off of the 20-hectare film village.
