Here we go:

1. Ben has sex with Kemi

After a rough couple of days, Kemi and Ben have sex. The episode opens to an awkward scene of Ben dressing up and walking out while Kemi watches.

We don't get to see them talk about it, but the next day, he talks about it with Kwabena, likening sex with Kemi to sex with a cousin. Anyway, Kwabena gives him tips on how to date two women at the same time.

For a while, it seems like he's going with the advice as we see him on a lunch date with Jessica, during which she accuses him of sleeping with Kemi, but he denies it. And hours later, he agrees to go on a date with Kemi.

However, this 'new Ben' doesn't last for long as he eventually apologizes to Jess, admitting that he slept with Kemi.

2. Stella's love life isn't as great as she would want it to be

Captain, who we all know has a crush on Stella, informs her that her new lover, Chuks, is a married man. He even shows her a photograph as proof.

At first, Stella doesn't think it's true. But after she confronts Chuks, who eventually admits that he has a wife, she apologizes to Captain.

Stella is so furious that she kicks Chuks out of the company, even though he is yet to complete the work he was contracted for.

3. Stella isn't the only one having relationship troubles

Remi comes across a bikini photo of Nike on Tega's phone. She angrily reminds him that he had just one chance to prove himself, adding that they are done.

When he confronts Nike about about sending him inappropriate photos, she isn't exactly apologetic, but she offers to talk to Remi about it, which Tega doesn't agree to. According to him, he doesn't think his wife would believe her.

Days later, Remi tells Tega she's moving out as she thinks they need time apart and he can't continue sleeping over in the office.

The next time we see Tega and Nike, they are sharing a kiss initiated by the latter. Tega pushes her away before reiterating that he loves his wife. But, it's probably late as we are shown a camera capturing the moment.

Considering how bold Nike is about what she wants from Tega, it's difficult to believe she wasn't given, even a little green light from Mr Castle.

Also, what she has done counts as sexual harassment, why is no one talking about punishing her?

Anyway, after the incident with Nike, Tega drags Remi into the shelf room, kisses her, promises her that she is the only important woman in his life and that nothing happened between himself and Nike, and finally convinces Remi to give him another chance.

It would be interesting to see how things go between the Castles as we are sure Nike isn't just going to let them have a happily ever after. Especially, after that kiss with Tega.

4. The case of the week is about a jilted bride

In episode eight, a jilted bride approaches the firm. She wants to sue her fiancé for failing to appear on their wedding day.

According to her, they were together two days before the D-day and even spoke on the phone a night before, yet, he failed to turn up for the wedding without any excuse.

When the 'groom' and his lawyer meet with the bride and her lawyers, we find out that the reason why he didn't show up was because he found out that she slept with his best friend years ago.

When she found out she had slept with his friend years ago, she kept it a secret out of fear that he would leave her.

Nevertheless, she wants to sue him for breach of promise for three million naira. But after much back and forth, they make up, forgive each other and agree to get married for real.

5. Malik loses his case to Mike

Malik loses the rape case to former colleague Mike, but he thinks the Judge was bribed.

Despite bringing a medical evidence, proof that there are other women who have accused Jimmy of rape in the past, and a witness, Seun Arinde, who testifies against the accused, the Judge still exonerates Jimmy.

The scene and verdict captures the reality of rape victims, who are often failed by everyone, including the judiciary.

An angry and disappointed Malik doesn't let the case die. He follows Jimmy to a bar where he attacks him on his way out and tells him that next time, when a woman says no, she actually means no.

6. Funniest scene

The scene between Stella and Nneka discussing the jilted bride has to be the funniest this week.

While Nneka is having an honest conversation about the breach of promise law, Stella is emphatic about how men are scum, probably remembering her latest heartbreak, all thanks to Chuks.

We also get to find out that Nneka's husband, Nnamdi, is a house husband, who is content with taking care of their daughter, home, and making sure her food is ready when she gets home from work.

They are perfect for each other, she tells Stella.

7. Favourite performer(s) of the week.

Blossom Chukwujekwu - Just as with the previous episode, Chukwujekwu delivers the character Malik with such brilliance and an intensity that makes his pain obvious, yet mysterious.
