This was undoubtedly one of the greatest meetings in entertainment history!

New York played host to one of the greatest royal meetings in entertainment history Monday night (December 8) when British Royalty - who visiting the city fir the first time - came close to the king and queen of pop world; and God knows all four were star struck!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate Middleton came face to face with music royal couple Beyonce and Jay Z at the Brooklyn Nets game against Cleveland Cavaliers in NYC to mark a unique partnership between the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the couple's Royal Foundation.

While pregnant Kate donned a chic grey coat by US designer Tory Burch, skinny jeans and black heels, Queen Bey seems to have dressed up in hopes of meeting the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. We bet she’s happy she did! But who are we kidding? Beyonce always looks great!

After the Cavaliers flogged the Nets 110-88, the royal couple were led backstage to meet the sport's biggest superstar – LeBron 'King' James who offered them sports gifts and a little NBA jersey for their son, Prince George.
