A recap of what happened this week in the lives of your favourite celebrities

Ok, guys, let's share with you some of the major stories that made our headlines this week.

Trust us when we say the week was full of events as more shockingly we saw one of your favourite celebrities do the unthinkable. Even though there were a couple of car accidents (hopefully Djinee recovers fully) the week saw some celebs make some statements that have been blown out of proportion.

1. Jude Okoye comes for women who have a thing with plastic surgery

Our first big story of the week was on Jude Okoye's view on women who have a thing for plastic surgery. The music director made this known via his Instagram page on Sunday, August 26, 2018. According to him, he hopes they do it for their personal self-esteem.

"All these women clinically enhancing their butts. Hope it’s for your ‘personal’ self-esteem cos it doesn’t make you more desirable in any way. #happysunday," he wrote.

2. Yul Edochie says dreams die in Nigeria

Just when Jude Okoye was calling out certain women for their lack of self-esteem, Yul Edochie was throwing jabs at the entire nation. The actor turned politician made his disappointments known via his Twitter page on Sunday, August 26, 2018. He gave a brief story of his friend who worked in Nigeria for years as a doctor without making money but became rich after his short move abroad.

3. Timaya says marriage doesn't work

Ok, this is one story that really went viral in the course of the week. Timaya apparently has a thing against marriage which he shared with his friend and colleague, Phyno. Phyno posted the video on his Instagram stories on Sunday, August 26, 2018. In the video, Timaya is spotted making a funny gesture and giving the rather unexpected comment accompanied by Paul Okoye of Psquare.

"Just born pikin the pikin go grow, Mummy this marriage thing nor dey work," he said.

4. Jim Iyke denies reports of arrest at airport

While Timaya was discouraging Phyno from getting married, his best friend, Jim Iyke was busy doing a damage control after a viral video went out saying he was arrested by the police at the airport for slapping staff of an airline.

In a telephone conversation with PULSE, the talented actor said he was shocked by the news filtering the air about his arrest. According to him, he only had a delayed flight and was only being escorted by his two personal assistants and police escort.

5. Anto survives ghastly car accident

Well guys during the week, a former BBNaija reality tv star, Anto revealed how she escaped a car accident. The former reality star took to her Instagram page on Monday, August 27, 2018, where she posted a photo of the ruined car. According to her, while everyone was celebrating the Muslim holiday she was having a near death experience.

6. Seyi Law shares unbelievable testimony

Seyi Law shared an unusual testimony to his fans on social media. The comedian took to his Instagram page on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, where he shared photos of his new house. He went on to reveal how he had just N63K in his account just before he bought his house because he had lost a lot of money during his last show. media during the week.

7. Djinee involved in car crash

We really pray that Djinee is recovering after the news of his involvement in a ghastly car accident during the week. The accident occurred on Monday, August 27, 2018, in the Lekki axis of Lagos Island. According to movie director, Abinibi who posted a video and photos from the accident scene on his Instagram page, he presently receiving treatment and recovering at an undisclosed hospital.

8. Davido goes to NYSC camp

Guys this was the biggest story in the celebrity world for the week as Davido showed up the NYSC camp for this year's orientation programme. The music star took to his Instagram page on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, where he shared a photo of himself wearing the traditional NYSC kit.

"Otondo OBO ...      #Nysc .. tying up every loose end !" he captioned the photo.

9. DJ Cuppy shares why she is no longer a feminist

One of the most sensitive topic to discuss around is on feminism. We guess DJ Cuppy didn't care whose buttons she was going to trigger as she revealed why she stopped being a feminist. The billionaire heiress revealed this while granting an interview with City FM. According to her, she didn't really understand the idea of being a feminist after a while hence her reason for opting out of the idea.
