"Dreams die here"- actor berates Nigeria

Yul Edochie has some not so nice things to say about Nigeria.

The actor turned politician made his disappointments known via his Twitter page on Sunday, August 26, 2018. He gave a brief story of his friend who worked in Nigeria for years as a doctor without making money but became rich after his short move abroad.

"My friend hustled as a practicing medical doctor for over 10yrs in Nigeria with nothing much to show for it. He left Nigeria last yr to practice abroad, came back one yr after, got married, boughts lands, building his house and happy. Dreams die here. We can't continue like this," he tweeted.

We might be wrong but amassing so much wealth under one year abroad sounds too good to be true but we kind of understand the point Yul is trying to make. Yul Edochie who ventured into politics about a year ago was recently made the Senior Special Assistant to the governor of Anambra state on creative and Entertainment Media.

Yul Edochie is now the Senior Special Assistant to the governor of Anambra state on creative and entertainment media. The actor made this known on his Instagram page on Friday, July 6, 2018, According to the former governorship candidate in Anambra state, he is full of thanks to Gov Willie Obiano of Anambra state for trusting in him and he won't let his people down.

"I thank His Excellency Chief Dr. Willie Obiano(Akpokue Dike) Executive Governor of Anambra State for appointing me SSA to the Governor on Creative & Entertainment Media. Thank you, sir, for seeing the zeal in me to serve the people and believing in me. Special thanks to Ndi Anambra, Ndi youth for your support and prayers, I will not let you down.

Back in April 2018, Yul Edochie announced to his then political party about his decision to run for the highest political position in the country.
