Monarch holds thanksgiving service with his new wife

The event was full of splendour and notable personalities who had all gathered to honour the king and his wife

Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi

The wedding was held on March 12, 2016 in Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. As expected of any kingly event, there was a rich attendance from top personalities such as monarchs, successful entrepreneurs and government representatives.

This will be the second for the monarch after ending a sour marriage with ex wife, Adebukunola Ogunwusi who he married in a holy solemnisation in 2008.

Oba Ogunwusi is quite smitten with his new wife, Wuraola. A source confirms this in a statement below:

"Ooni is very happy and they get along so well. They’re having a great time together. There are so many qualities that Ooni found in Wuraola: aside her beauty, she’s respectful, gracious, cool-headed, and homely. Friends have since said they have never seen Ooni as happy as he is with Wuraola, and her joy is evident whenever they are together!”

Have your say in our poll. Do you think the marriage will blossom longer than the first?
