Actress celebrates husband as he turns 50!

Its celebration time in the house of the Ekeindes as Mathew Ekiende turns 50 with his wife, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde celebrating him.

The veteran actress took to her Instagram page on Friday, March 23, 2018, where she posted photos of herself with her pilot husband and wished him a happy birthday.

It would surprise you to know that this is a double celebration for the couple as they are also celebrating their 22nd wedding anniversary. We can all remember when the couple got married in 1996, at that time Omotola was just 17 years old and Mathew was 27.

However, in 2001, the couple decided to do what no one had done in Nigeria at that time, a wedding on board a flight.

The wedding took place with a number of friends and family on board a Dash 7 aircraft while flying from Lagos to Benin. And if you think there wasn't anyone to officiate the wedding, then you thought wrong as there was a priest on board that flight who presided over the vows taking.

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde celebrated her 40th birthday in February 2018 and trust it was one of the biggest celebrity birthdays ever held in the country. She didn't only bring all the major actors in the entertainment industry under one roof but was also able to invite captains of industries, politicians and traditional rulers to her party.
