Rapper abandons gig after thousands of fans flood venue

The show which was meant to hold at Webster Hall in Manhattan, New York City, was sold out within an hour after the rapper made the announcement via his Twitter account.

However, there were still thousands of fans outside the venue in desperate anticipation to see the rapper which almost turn into a near riot scene.

US Weekly reports, West, was forced by the police to abandon the gig because of the scary, and dangerous condition outside the night club.

Thousands of fans who didn’t have access inside the venue were ready to party outside all night.

It was further gathered that though the rapper couldn’t perform at his surprise show, it took hours before his convoy could get him through the excited crowd.

"There is no late show at Webster Hall tonight. Please get home safely," the venue tweeted to the thousands of fans outside,
