Singer speaks about his horrifying experience with SARS

Jon Ogah speaks about what he went through in the hands of SARS operatives.

The singer took to his Twitter on Sunday, December 3, 2017, where he spoke about his encounter with SARS. In one of his tweets, he revealed how they threatened to plant guns in his car.

"#EndSARS I remember when SARS operatives forcefully took my friend and I to the station. They threatened to plant guns in the car and make sure we go to jail. I was shocked when the officer said it with  confidence. Imagine how many people are in jail for crimes they never did?" he tweeted.

In another of his tweet, he recommended that the Nigerian Senate should take a critical look at the worrisome attitudes of the SARS officers.

"#EndSARS there needs to be a probe into SARS operations by the senate. Investigation into criminal exchanges in prisons, assault, harrassment, & murder of citizens. If the IG of police is inactive & just enjoying money he should be replaced with someone competent & progressive," he concluded.

These latest accusations by Jon Ogah is coming on the heels of a massive online protest by many Nigerians over the activities of SARS operatives.
