Singer seeks aid for Benue flood victims

The "Classic Man" crooner did not fail to acknowledge similar events that occurred in Sierra Leone and Houston, Texas via his social media platform.

The Nigerian-American artiste took to his Instagram page to urge his followers as well as other well-meaning individuals, to help by donating to relief efforts.

He captioned his post, "While both Freetown and Houston have been enduring, more than 100,000 people have been displaced by flooding in Benue State, Nigeria. Benue is next to the state where I grew up so this really hits home.

"We need more prayer and more action. Here are a couple ways to donate directly to relief funds via bank account. #BenueRelief | #BenueFlood | #MakurdiFlood |#PrayforBenue."

Jidenna added that the disaster in Benue hits pretty close to home as the state is next to the one he lived in as a child.

He is one of many other celebrities who have raised their voice to garner aid and relief materials to those who have lost properties in the Benue flood disaster.
