Tinubu is the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the 2023 general elections.

The movie star took to her Instagram page on Friday, June 24, 2022, where she shared the photo.

"MY PEOPLE……. #BAT2023 ✌🏽@officialasiwajubat @remitinubu," she captioned the photo.

It is not clear why the actress decided to disable the comment section of that particular photo.

However, she has received a lot of negative feedback on her other photos for sharing the photo.

Badmus isn't the only celebrity who has openly declared support for Tinubu ahead of the elections.

It would be recalled that a few weeks ago, singer Brymo also shared a similar sentiment about the former governor's candidacy.

The music star took to his Twitter page on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, where he gave reasons why Tinubu is the best candidate to rule the country.

"Yet… he’s the one with a plan, we all know that… Let a city boy be president for once!.. never met the man, or anyone who represents, or is acquainted to him, or even his relations and political affiliates - and if we stopped trying to kill them off for being old," he replied a follower.

As his tweet began to gain engagement on the social media app, the singer continued to give justifications as to why the politician's candidature was the best bet.
