NBA star's cousin shot, killed while pushing stroller
Gabrielle Union's husband, Dwyane Wade, has lost his cousin, Nykea Aldridge, who was shot and killed while she pushed a baby stroller at a park in Chicago.
The 32-year-old mother-of-four was reportedly killed in Chicago on Friday, August 26, in what Wade describes as "act of senseless gun violence."
The victim identified as Nykea Aldridge was reportedly pushing in Chicago's Parkway Gardens neighbourhood when she was caught in a crossfire as two men fire on another man, getting hit in the arm and head. she was pronounced dead at the local hospital she was rushed to.
Speaking on the sad incident, Wade said:
"My cousin was killed today in Chicago. Another act of senseless gun violence. 4 kids lost their mom for NO REASON. Unreal. #EnoughIsEnough"

Wade has always been pushing the message of peace over gun violence prior to the incident and did it again on stage at the ESPYS with Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul.
The police are reportedly questioning two suspects. May her soul rest in peace.
