The Oyo-town born celebrity grew up in Nigeria, however, in 2008 moved to South Africa and holds a degree in Maritime Studies.
He works as a model to South Africa's first international model agency, Boss Models. Ever since he emerged from the Big Brother house, he was been snatching up endorsement deals and appointments such as Pay Porte, INEC youth ambassador, as well as a ONE campaign ambassador alongside D'banj.
Faniran’s favourite food is Eba, an Okra Soup mixed with fish stew. He recently tried his hand out at music and dropped track 'Caterpillar'.
Tayo and his South African girlfriend have a cute baby boy called Akintoye.
