The award winning artiste says Beyonce is not the feminist she claims to be because her sexual performances and distasteful musical 'lyrics' are bad for her young audience.
In a recent interview, Lennox elaborated on her prior comments about Beyonce not being a feminist saying:"Listen, twerking is not feminism. ... It's not - it's not liberating, it's not empowering. It's a sexual thing that you're doing on a stage; it doesn't empower you. That's my feelings about it. ... The reason why I've commented is because I think this overt sexuality thrust - literally - at particular audiences, when often performers have a very, very young audience ... I find it disturbing and think it's exploitative. It's troubling. I'm coming from a perspective of a woman that's had children."
Its not the first time Lennox is hitting hard on Jay Z's wife. She ranted over Bey's 'sexual' performance at the Grammys earlier this year; calling it “nasty”.
Now she says, “maybe this is a good thing because it creates debate."Do you think Lennox has a point?
