Support for Britain to leave the European Union stood at 49 percent, 2 percentage points ahead of the campaign for staying in the 28-member bloc, an ORB opinion poll for The Daily Telegraph suggested on Tuesday.
"Out" campaign leads by 2% ahead of referendum
When only those who definitely plan to go to the polls were asked how they would vote, support for leaving rose to 52 percent against 45 percent to stay and 3 percent undecided, the ORB poll suggested.
The poll of 823 people, interviewed by telephone between March 11 and March 14, found that 4 percent of respondents were undecided.
Britain holds a referendum on EU membership on June 23.
