Governor warns Fayose against prophecies of death for Buhari

Amaechi urged Fayose to remember the fate that befell all who had predicted death for former President, Nnamdi Azikiwe.

The Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi has warned his Ekiti State counterpart, Ayo Fayose against his constant attacks on All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari.

Amaechi urged Fayose to remember the fate that befell all who had predicted death for former President, Nnamdi Azikiwe.

The governor issued the warning to Fayose on Thursday, March 12, during a meeting between Buhari and a group of youths in Lagos State.

“I want to let my friend, the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayo Fayose, to know that our Presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, is still within the presidential age,” Amaechi stated.

“He is still very strong, fit and can still govern this nation including Ayo Fayose himself. The only thing I want to say to Fayose is that, did he know what happened to all those who predicted the death of Nnamdi Azikwe,” he added.

Amaechi had earlier said during an APC rally that everyone who had predicted death for Azikiwe had died before Azikiwe.

Fayose has been unrelenting in his attacks against Buhari saying that the APC candidate is unfit to be President.
