‘Wike sponsored killing of APC chieftains in Rivers,’ Amaechi alleges

Amaechi also said Wike can’t hide from the fact that he ordered the killing during the 2015 elections

This is coming after the APC accused the Rivers State Governor of gathering weapons ahead of the upcoming rerun elections.

According to Vanguard, Amaechi said Wike can’t hide from the fact that he ordered the killing during the 2015 elections.

The minister said ”Wike has not denied he did not kill people, he sponsored those who carried arms in the 2015 general elections, even, during the campaigns.”

“Our people were beaten, manhandled and others threatened, leaving many dead, but, we will not continue to allow these things to happen like that. Members of the PDP were also responsible for killing APC members in Omoku.”

Amaechi also called on Governor Wike to provide proof of his allegations that the APC is planning to rig the rerun elections.
