Governor appoints new Perm Secs, adviser

Governor Nasir El-rufai

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State on Friday, June 12, approved the appointment of two new permanent secretaries and an adviser.

Notice of the approval is contained in a statement signed by the governor’s Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Samuel Aruwan, made available to journalists in Kaduna.

The statement quoted Aruwan as stating that Aishatu Mohammed has been appointed as Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice.

He said Dr Abdulkadir Kassim has been appointed Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, while Musa Sheyin was appointed the Deputy Chief of Staff (Office of the Deputy Governor).

The statement also listed Uba Sani as Special Adviser, Political Matters and Jimi Adebisi-Lawal as Special Adviser, Investment Promotion.

Others are Mohammed Suleiman as Special Adviser, Legal and Olumuyiwa Adekeye as Special Adviser, Media and Communication and Retired Col. Yakubu Yusuf as Coordinator of "Operation Yaki.’’
