Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has said that his impending visit to the United States of America will strengthen ties between the two countries.

The President made the comments on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, during a meeting with the United States Deputy Secretary of State, Anthony J. Blinken.

Blinken, speaking on behalf of Obama, expressed his sympathy over the recent spate of terror attacks in Nigeria.
