Buhari met with the reps in a bid to resolve the National Assembly leadership crisis which has rocked the APC since June.

The meeting is however said to have ended in a deadlock as both the Yakubu Dogara faction and the Femi Gbajabiamila faction refused to back down.
The crisis began when Dogara emerged Speaker after contesting despite Gbajabiamila being chosen as the APC’s sole candidate.
