The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State, Gyang Pwajok, is dead.

Pwajok reportedly died in an Indian hospital on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, after battling kidney disease.

His death has been confirmed to journalists by media aide, Chuwang Dung who said that an official statement would be issued soon.
Pwajok’s passing has also been confirmed by the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Olisa Metuh.
The deceased contested the April 11 governorship elections in Plateau on the PDP’s platform but lost to Simon Lalong of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
