Group drags ministers, Buhari to court over alleged bribery attempt

A group has dragged Ameachi and Ogbonnaya Onu to a Federal High court in Abuja over alleged bribery attempt.

The ministers' names are given as Rotimi Amaechi and Ogbonnaya Onu.

According to a recent report by Vanguard, the group is also praying the Federal High Court, Abuja to compel EFCC, DSS and ICPC to arrest and prosecute the Minister for Transportation and Minister for Science and Technology for alleged bribery allegation.

The group is also praying the court to compel President Muhammadu Buhari to sack the ministers with immediate effect until they have been vindicated by the court of the allegations levelled against them by two Supreme Court Judges, Sylvester Ngwuta and Justice Inyang Okoro.

The suit, which is marked FHC/ABJ/CS/857/2016 and dated October 31, 2016 is yet to be assigned to any judge for hearing.

In October 2016, Justices Ngwuta and Justice Inyang alleged bribery attempt by the ex-Governor of Rivers State and Ogbonnaya Onu.
